Buy for the open rack, not the folded photograph
A folded rack can look wonderfully compact on a listing. The useful question is where it will stand for the hours when clothing is actually drying. Amazon Basics: the narrower starting point
The linked Amazon Basics listing specifies an open size of 14.5 inches deep, 29.5 inches wide and 41.8 inches high. Its accordion arrangement provides multiple bars within that compact base. That makes it worth considering beside a laundry corner or in a room where a wider winged rack cannot remain open. The base measurement is only the beginning. Towels and shirts can project beyond the frame. Draping thick garments across adjacent bars may crowd them together, so do not count every bar as equally useful space for every kind of load. Mock up the footprint and then add the actual width of the clothing you expect to hang.

The DRY-01610 listing describes a gullwing rack with 46 linear feet of drying space, dedicated shoe bars and a 50-pound load limit. Those are listing specifications, not our tested capacity. The cost is room occupation. Check the fully opened dimensions for the exact model and allow space around its outer edges. Three loads that lead to different choices
For a few light shirts between machine-dried loads, I would start with the Amazon Basics design. There is little reason to devote a broad area to a small amount of clothing. For a mix of towels, tops and garments that benefit from being spread out, I would favor the gullwing layout if the room permits it.
For long dresses or trousers that must hang from a hanger, inspect the available vertical drop rather than assuming either rack is ideal. A different rack format may be more practical. The capacity number does not set the drying time
A weight limit tells you how much load a manufacturer permits under its stated conditions. It does not mean the rack will dry that amount efficiently in your room.
