Picture where the complete stand will go when you stop working, not just where the laptop goes. If it stays on a shared table, it remains a visible object even after every cable is tidied.

C3: detachable is not the same as instantly foldable

Nulaxy describes the C3 as a three-part detachable aluminum stand. That offers a different storage option from the mStand’s single body. It can be relevant for someone who only occasionally dismantles a workspace or carries equipment between homes. It does not follow that disassembly will be a pleasant twice-daily habit. Consider how often you would separate and reassemble it, and where the pieces will be kept together. Check your actual laptop, not just its screen diagonal
